WEST was amazing.....there is no better way to describe it! Laurel and I both had great limited prep topics, responsive judges, and really fun performances. There were so many wonderful things that happened that didn't have to happen, but God brought them about anyway. Laurel won all three Limited Prep events, as well as TP and TP speaker points - everything she was in. ;) We got to see amazing friends that we hadn't seen in months (probably the best part of the tournament)! And competing in speeches was so nice after not doing it for so long - doing a platform again, having the thrill of Impromptu rounds, and then performing my Open for the first time - all very exciting. The Open was so much more fun than I thought it would be, and I wanted so badly to break just so I could do the speech for another round. :) And then I did get to!
