Eastern PA 2014

Last week in PA, I ventured into an arena far outside of my comfort zone - Team Policy debate. Thanks to a debate coach sister, a superb partner, and a God who proves Himself strong, I survived, and absolutely loved it. Due to being so busy (my hat's off to all those who consistently ironman!), I didn't take many pictures..but here are some highlights.

BURNS/HOPKINS

Although often called to mind, last week I was especially reminded of the great gift of encouragement.  Whether it be asking how a debate round went, coming to see a speech, or simply a smile in the hallway, so many people offered me a boost of support and happiness  - taking time out of their day to bring a smile to someone else's face. Tremendously thankful for people like that.
